What Happens Without Healthy Meals and Energizing Foods

Here’s how to eat healthy meals and be energized without dieting. We’re talking about real food and how that can help you lose weight. Here’s the reason why.

We eat a lot of processed foods, which is a problem. They have a lot of chemicals and a lot of different ingredients you can’t pronounce. That’s the big red flag. When you eat those types of foods, it’s seen by your body as a toxin. It doesn’t see it as nutritious. It’s not going to fuel your body. You’re not getting anything from it.

Healthy Meals

Here’s something that you may notice. It’s also something that happened to me so many times in the past. It’s that you eat and then within half an hour or an hour you’re hungry again. And it’s because there’s no nutritional value to what you’ve had. It happens with chips and crackers. Instead, you should eat large amounts of nutrient-dense foods. We’re talking grass-fed beef. And yes, beef is not bad. I hear that often. But, it has to be a certain type. It needs to be organic and grass fed. It’s very important. Eggs are wonderful, but you need to buy organic pasture-raised eggs. The reason is that we don’t want all that extra stuff that they’re feeding these animals. We don’t want to ingest these chemicals when we eat the eggs or the meat.

Foods that Keep You Healthy and Energized

We want to eat clean meat, clean eggs, clean butter, clean cheese. All that needs to be organic and pasture-raised. So that’s why it is important to read the labels. I know I always say that. Read the labels, read the labels. But it’s so true. They try to sneak things in. Then we wonder why we feel horrible. Why we’re fatigued, why we get headaches and stomachaches. These are the reasons why. When you feed your body processed foods which are toxic to the body, you get no nutritional value. Then you get the side effects of these chemicals that they’re putting in snacks, meat, and cheese. This part is important. If you want to lose weight, you cannot keep eating toxic foods.

You need nutrient-dense foods. Whole grains, whole grains, clean meat. Look for ingredients on the back. You should see. If you’re going to buy popcorn, fine. It needs to be non-GMO popcorn made with organic olive oil or organic coconut oil or avocado oil. Do not eat canola oil or vegetable oils.

Now, when you eat out, guess what they use? They’re using canola oil to cook your food in. So if you’re somebody that’s eating out a lot, that could actually be the reason why you are not losing weight, okay?

Jen is a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (NTP) and NESTA certified personal trainer. Her goal is to help others love themselves. She believes the story we tell ourselves in our minds holds us back. For example, for many years she told herself she wasn’t smart enough to make it through school to be a nutritionist. She thought she couldn't do a fitness competition because she had kids (and no time). Our minds are powerful and Jen wants to help everyone break through that roadblock to achieve their personal health and fitness goals.
